Helping Professionals Achieve Outrageous Goals for Over 40 Years
Dr. S. Renee Maddox teaches that the overall life rhythm is one of the most important factors for inner resilience. The time you spend at work, home and honoring leisure activities should have this “harmonious relationship.”
To lead an incredible life, you must first have a clear vision of where you want to go. While mapping out your life, remember there are many moving components. And, occasionally, “things” sort of get in the way and knock you off course.
MOST people find themselves out of sync and lean towards work since work is instrumental in life survival. You want more time for self or to find some balance, but work consumes you. We have all been there. Without work and money, it is virtually impossible to create the quality of life you seek.
This is the Reason Dr. S. Renee Maddox Enjoys Helping Her Clients Find Inner Resilience
Each day as Dr. S. Renee Maddox takes time to meditate, sky gaze or listen to relaxing music, she finds herself reflecting on client sessions. She is always humbled and excited to receive emails or phone calls from her clients sharing how she helped them change their life. One of her clients was feeling burnt out. She could not figure out how to develop her business, take care of a family and find time for herself. After working together, she was able to break through some career and life patterns to finally address areas of procrastination and stress while pursuing her dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Being out of balance can cause your life to fall apart when least expected.
There Was a Time When Dr. S. Renee Maddox Was Burned Out and Her Life Was Out of Sync
Life falling apart in slow motion is so surreal. I know… I have been there! Working more than 9 hours per day, getting my doctorate, rushing home to cook dinner, helping children with homework, driving them around for extracurricular activities, squeezing in family functions and visiting friends became my “norm!” While I was trying to be “Super Woman,” my quality of life was deteriorating.
After a long day, I would finally go to sleep only to be startled awake with the alarm beeping in my ear.
When my doctor told me my blood pressure was dangerously high, I had to closely evaluate the burnout I created in my life. I realized I was out of sync and the rhythm of life somehow disappeared. This is when I knew it was time to uplevel my life. It was no longer about surviving but thriving in life.
And...creating a balance between family, educational goals and work to achieve and maintain an “A”.
